As well as looking after your Volkswagen, for those who like to get involved in the upkeep of their vehicles and carry out the work themselves, a regular maintenance schedule is a great way to really get to know your vehicle in detail down to every nut and bolt, every noise and smell, and can help you in diagnosing any future problems your Volkswagen will undoubtedly encounter.
Here are guidelines for the minimum maintenance intervals recommended for daily driven Volkswagens.
To keep your vehicle in peak condition at all times, you can perform some of these procedures even more often.
If you drive in dusty areas, idle or drive at low speeds for extended periods or drive for short distances (less than four miles) in below freezing temperatures, shorter maintenance intervals are also recommended.
