THE WORLDS BIGGEST VW VAN FESTIVAL HELD AT THE MALVERN SHOWGROUND

What started as a small event called VANFEST in 1994 at the Malvern Show ground, UK has grown to become the world’s LARGEST INTERNATIONAL BUSFESTIVAL event for owners, lovers and enthusiasts of Volkswagen Transporter Van’s.

Held over a 3 full days in September, with over 8000 vehicles 25000 people attending plus over 300 trade stands the BUSFEST provides absolutely everything and anything you could possibly want to do with VW transporters plus a whole lot more.

The BUSFEST CREW extend a MASSIVE thanks to all of you who supported again at BUSFEST 2016. We look forward to meeting you all (and a whole lot more new Transporter Fans) again in 2017 at Malvern for the BIGGEST and BEST truly INTERNATIONAL VW TRANSPORTER FESTIVAL anywhere!

BUSFEST 2017

This year marks 70 years since BEN PON first put pencil to notebook and came up with the sketch that led to production of the first generation of VW TRANSPORTERS. It is also the 50th Anniversary of the production of the first Bay Window Vans We will be celebrating that along with lots of other displays and happenings over the weekend.

For the evening entertainments we will be bringing back something we have not done at Malvern for quite a while; a very special German Themed “BUSTOBERFEST” weekend in the SEVERN HALL with the fabulous JONGE REMSTÄLER a genuine German Brass Band to make your BUSFEST EXPERIENCE even MORE spectacular and enjoyable.

For those who might fancy something a bit different (and maybe wearing Pantyhosen instead of Ledehosen!) for our Adult Themed Evening Entertainment. In the MAIN MARQUEE we have “WHAM BAM NIGHT (WHAM tribute) on the Friday evening And a “DRAG” Theme running based on “PRISCILA QUEEN OF THE DERSERT” (Starring DANNY BEARD, MAMA TRISH & GLITTER LIPS)There will be some small changes to the event layout this year to make everything “flow” a bit better, especially in the area around the Main Marquee. You will, I hope also notice other improvements that have been made to the site to make sure we give you the best Busfest ever from the fantastic Showground facilities that are available to you.
